Privacy policy

SiteView is job-management software for construction companies, operated by Gator Home Remodel ("we", "us") in Colorado. Companies use it to run remodeling work — leads, estimates, schedules, invoices and job records. We do not sell, rent or trade anyone's data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Two kinds of data

It matters which one we are talking about, because our role is different for each.

• Account data — the company name, the names, work emails, phone numbers, roles and permissions of the people who sign in, and the record of the application that created the account. This is ours to hold, and this policy governs it.
• Company data — everything a company puts into its own workspace: its customers, projects, estimates, invoices, payments, schedules, photos, files and messages. That belongs to the company. We hold and process it on their behalf, under their instructions, so that the software works. If you are a homeowner whose details are in a contractor's SiteView workspace, that contractor decides what is kept and for how long — ask them, and they can reach us to act on it.

What we store

• Customer records — name, phone, email, service address, project details, and the messages exchanged about the job.
• Job records — estimates, invoices, payments, schedules, selections, photos and files attached to a project.
• Staff accounts — name, work email, role and permissions for the people at that company who use the app.
• Lead-source data — when a lead reaches a company through a connected service (a lead marketplace, a website contact form, a phone number or an email address), we store what that service sends so the enquiry can be answered and attributed.
• Operational logs — sign-in times, IP address and error records, kept to keep accounts secure and the service working.

Separation between companies

Each company's workspace is separate. No company can see another company's records, and our staff do not read company data except where it is necessary to fix a fault, investigate abuse, or where the company asks us to help — and then only as much as the task requires.

How it is used

To run the work and to run the service: contacting customers about their projects, preparing estimates and invoices, scheduling crews, keeping a record of the job, and sending account and system notifications. We do not use company data to train models, to build profiles for resale, or to advertise to anyone.

Who else touches it

Only the service providers that make the product work — hosting, database storage, file and video storage, email delivery and, where a company connects them, text messaging and lead sources. They process data on our behalf under their own agreements and may not use it for their own purposes. We also disclose information where the law requires it. Where a company contacts us through an outside service, that service's own privacy policy governs what it collects on its side; what it passes to us is handled under this policy.

Trials

Data entered during a free trial is treated exactly like data in a paid account. If a trial ends without continuing, the company can ask us to export its data or delete it; otherwise the workspace is retained for a reasonable period and then removed.

Retention, security and your choices

Records are kept for as long as the company needs them to run and document the work, and to meet tax, warranty and legal obligations. Access requires a password-protected account; passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form; data is encrypted in transit; file and video storage is access-controlled. Customer-facing links — estimates, invoices, portals — are private tokens that grant access only to that one record. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

To ask what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or request deletion, email hello@usesiteview.com. We respond within a reasonable period, keeping only what we are legally required to retain. Notification emails carry a link to notification settings.

Children

SiteView is a tool for construction businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it and account holders are notified by email.
